Brooklyn, NY- Alexander Ulloa-Toribio Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Grand St

Brooklyn, NY (November 25, 2020) – A three-vehicle accident believed to have been caused by a blown tire left one person dead and others injured on Wednesday morning, November 25th. The fatal accident occurred around 1:15 on Grand Street.

According to authorities, a BMW 7 series was heading west along Grand Street when one of its rear tires blew out. The blowout caused the driver to lose control and the BMW struck a Honda Odyssey and a Honda Element in the 600 block of the roadway.

The impact of the collision caused the Odyssey to strike a tree and emergency crews responded to the scene a short time later. The driver of the Odyssey, identified as 26-year-old Alexander Ulloa-Toribio was taken to Woodhull Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

Both the 30-year-old male driver and 30-year-old passenger of the BMW were transported to Bellevue Hospital. They suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the collision. The driver of the Element was not hurt.

At this time, no charges have been filed and the incident remains under investigation.
