Brooklyn, NY (March 22, 2023) – An ambulance was requested at the scene of a collision involving a motor vehicle and a bicyclist in the Fort Greene neighborhood of Brooklyn. Reports show that it happened on Wednesday morning, March 22nd, at about 9:30 a.m.
According to law enforcement, an unidentified person was riding a bike at or near the intersection of Clermont and Park Avenues when they were struck by a passenger vehicle that entered the area. Either the driver of the vehicle or a bystander called 911, and emergency dispatchers immediately sent crews to the scene.
Paramedics assisted the injured cyclist before transporting the victim to a local hospital for further treatment. The condition of the rider has not been reported at this time.
An investigation into the events that triggered the collision is ongoing.
