Brooklyn, NY (February 17, 2023) – An unidentified bicyclist was injured after being struck by a vehicle in the Wingate neighborhood of Brooklyn. It happened at around 9:16 a.m. on Friday morning, February 17th.
According to law enforcement, a person was riding their bike at or near the area of 451 Clarkson Avenue when an unspecified type of passenger vehicle entered the same section of the roadway. The driver of the vehicle collided with the cyclist, knocking the victim to the ground.
Due to the nature of the incident, emergency medical services arrived at the scene to provide assistance. The bicyclist suffered injuries in the collision and was transported to a nearby Medical Center for urgent treatment.
At this time, no information has been reported regarding the extent of the victim’s injuries. Police officials in Brooklyn continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
