Brooklyn, NY – Bicyclist Struck by Car Door on S 1st St

Brooklyn, NY (July 17, 2023) – A bicyclist was transported to a local hospital following a crash that took place in the Williamsburg area.

At approximately 8:10 a.m. on July 15, calls for assistance came in regarding a crash on South 1st Street. According to reports provided by the New York Police Department, a bicyclist was riding in the area of 375 South 1st Street when they were struck by a car door.

The bicyclist was injured as a result of the accident. Emergency medical service personnel responded to the scene to provide care for the victim. The bicyclist was then transported to a local hospital, where they were treated for injuries.

The accident is being investigated by the New York Police Department at this time.
