Brooklyn, NY – Crash Involving Pedestrian Reported on Stanley Ave

Brooklyn, NY (July 13, 2023) – A crash reported in the East New York section of Brooklyn ended in injuries.

At around 5:50 p.m. on July 11, a 10-year-old girl was struck by a gray vehicle in the area of 1167 Stanley Avenue. Emergency crews rushed to the scene and shut down the roadway as they tended to the victim and worked to remove debris from the travel lanes on the road.

The girl was injured as a result of the crash. Emergency medical service technicians responded to care for the victim and transport her to a local hospital.

Officers with the New York Police Department remained at the scene for an extended period while working to clear the lanes and to investigate. The investigations into the accident are currently ongoing.
