Brooklyn, NY (May 21, 2023) – The New York Police Department was called to the scene of an automobile accident that took place in the Brooklyn area that claimed one person’s life.
At around 9:30 p.m. on May 14, the police were notified that they were needed at the scene of a crash on East 103rd Street.
Reports show that 57-year-old Edwin Febus was writing a Kawasaki ZX600 motorcycle on East 103rd Street near Glenwood Road when his vehicle became involved in a collision with a Honda Accord.
Febus suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash. He was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital for emergency care. Authorities confirm that he passed away from his injuries on May 18.
One of the women in the Honda was transported to North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital for the treatment of injuries.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
