Brooklyn, NY – Five-Car Accident Results in Entrapment, Injuries on Belt Pkwy near Ocean Pkwy

Brooklyn, NY (July 16, 2023) – A serious car crash happened in Gravesend, Brooklyn, on the afternoon of July 16. Responders were sent to the collision site at approximately 1:00 p.m., according to reports. 

Sources say the accident occurred on the Belt Parkway near Ocean Parkway. One person became trapped inside their vehicle after a five-car accident on the highway.

Firefighters were seen rendering aid at the wreck site a short time after it happened. At least one individual was treated for injuries and taken to the hospital. 

The roadway was blocked while emergency responders worked to help those involved who have not been identified at this time.
