Brooklyn, NY – Injuries Follow Car Crash on E 85th St near Foster Ave

Brooklyn, NY (July 17, 2023) – Officers with the New York Police Department assisted area firefighters at the scene of an automobile accident in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn.

At around 4:30 a.m. on July 15, calls for help were received by emergency dispatchers regarding an automobile accident on East 85th Street.

Upon arriving at the scene, authorities located damaged vehicles on the road near the intersection of Foster Avenue. Several victims were also located at the site of the accident suffering from injuries.

Emergency medical services personnel rendered aid to the victims. Three people were then transported to area hospitals for emergency care.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.

We hope the injured victims recover quickly following this accident.
