Brooklyn, NY (April 6, 2023) – At approximately 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday evening, an unidentified man was fatally struck by a vehicle that was involved in a collision in the Borough Park neighborhood of Brooklyn. The deadly incident was reported at the intersection of 50th Street and 13th Avenue.
Reports show that two unspecified types of vehicles collided after entering the junction at the same time. The impact of the crash caused one of the involved vehicles to slam into a nearby pedestrian.
The pedestrian, identified only as a 23-year-old man, was severely injured in the incident, and emergency responders arrived at the scene a short time later. The man was transported to a local hospital, where he passed away from his injuries.
At least two people who were involved in the collision were injured and hospitalized for treatment. Neither their conditions nor identities have been released.
The events that caused the crash are under investigation.
