Brooklyn, NY (May 20, 2023) – A man lost his life as a result of a hit-and-run accident that took place in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn on a Friday afternoon, May 19.
At around 12:30 p.m., a collision between vehicles took place on Keap Street near South Fifth Street. Preliminary reports show that a 49-year-old man was struck by a dark-colored SUV near the intersection. The SUV then fled the scene of the accident.
The pedestrian was rushed to Woodhull Hospital for emergency care. He passed away after arriving.
This time, the incident is being investigated.
