Brooklyn, NY (February 17, 2023) – In the Coney Island section of Brooklyn, emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash that left one or more people trapped. The accident was reported on Friday morning, February 17th, at approximately 9:01 a.m.
Authorities say that two or more vehicles collided in the area of 3516 Bayview Avenue for reasons that have not been determined at this time. The force of the collision resulted in at least one passenger being trapped inside one of the vehicles.
Firefighters were called to the scene to extricate the trapped passenger, and paramedics arrived to provide medical attention. The victim was removed from the vehicle and transported to a local Medical Center via ambulance.
Presently, there is no word on the condition of the injured patient. Local authorities are conducting an investigation to determine the events that led to the accident.
