Brooklyn, NY (February 2, 2023) – One person was reportedly hospitalized after being struck by a motor vehicle in downtown Brooklyn. The collision was reported by law enforcement on Thursday morning, February 2nd, at approximately 8:56 a.m.
Authorities say that an unidentified pedestrian was walking at or near the intersection of Willoughby and Bridge Streets when a motor vehicle entered the area. The person who was traveling by foot was then struck by the vehicle for yet-to-be-known reasons.
First responders at the scene transported the wounded pedestrian to a nearby hospital. The extent of the victim’s injuries is not known.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is ongoing.
