Brooklyn, NY – Seven-Car Crash on Belt Pkwy Injures Seven; Driver Flees

Brooklyn, NY (November 20, 2023) – A major seven-car accident on the Belt Pkwy resulted in at least seven people being hospitalized, with two in critical condition. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, near Knapp St in Brooklyn.

Police report that the driver of an Infiniti sedan, traveling eastbound, lost control and collided with a Mercedes. This set off a chain reaction involving an SUV crossing over the median and four additional cars.

Authorities are actively searching for the Infiniti driver, who fled the scene following the crash. The investigation into this multi-vehicle accident is ongoing.
