Brooklyn, NY (November 10, 2022) – Three people were injured in a fire that was reported in the Sunset Park area of Brooklyn. It happened at around 9:54 a.m. on Thursday morning, November 10th.

Reports show that a fire started in the basement of a building located at the intersection of 9th Avenue and 55th Street. Crews arrived at the scene to battle the flames and a total of three people were found with injuries.

All three patients sustained injuries that were reportedly non-life-threatening. One of the victims suffered injuries that are more serious than the other two.

The fire was determined to have been caused by a lithium-ion battery, but the investigation continues at this time.
