Brooklyn, NY (January 15, 2023) – A pedestrian was hit by a train at a train station in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The incident was reported to officials in the are at approximately 10:40 p.m. on January 14. 

Firefighters were seen at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station assessing the situation after an individual was hit by a train at the transit hub. Power was shut off at the tracks and some trains were delayed. 

The scene was turned over to the NYPD in order to be investigated as a crime scene. The victim was pronounced deceased on-site. At this time, their identity has not been reported.
