The accident took place shortly before 11:00 AM at the intersection of Pleasant Hill Road and Baribeau Drive, prompting a swift response from Brunswick Police, Fire, and EMS.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Harding, driving a vehicle, pulled out of Baribeau Drive into the path of a westbound Chevy pickup truck driven by a man from Harpswell. The driver of the pickup truck was unable to avoid the collision, and Harding was struck. Despite efforts at the scene, Harding was pronounced dead. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured in the crash.
