Residential Fires in New York

Buffalo, NY – Two Hospitalized After House Fire on Seneca St

All around the state of New York, authorities have verified that fatalities caused by various structure fires rose by at least 50% from the year 2016 to 2017. Recently released statistics have also confirmed that around 73 civilian deaths were the results of residential fires in New York that broke out within the aforesaid time span. Following such a harrowing and overwhelming incident, victims are left with the high costs of medical care, often including continued treatments and physical therapy on top of the initial cost of hospitalization.

In many cases, sudden and catastrophic fires are triggered by no fault of the victims but by factors such as defective wiring or the criminal behavior of another party. Whether another person or entity is responsible for a fire that has resulted in injuries, it is important to understand that there is no reason why victims and their families should be burdened by the high expenses that follow such an incident. Besides the costs of medical treatment, many victims are also forced to miss long periods of work and subsequently lose wages. There is no substitute for tireless representation that will fight for the fairness and compensation you deserve.
