California, MD – Woman Seriously Hurt in Pedestrian Crash on Worth Ave

California, MD (July 21, 2023) – Authorities confirmed that one woman was left with significant injuries following a pedestrian accident in the California area.

At around 4:50 p.m. on July 18, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Worth Avenue. According to officials, a woman was walking out of the Best Buy Store during the early evening hours while carrying a television. For unknown reasons, she was struck by a vehicle and thrown over the hood.

The woman was severely injured in the crash. The victim, a 40-year-old woman, was airlifted and flown by MEDEVAC to St. Mary’s Regional Airport. She was then flown to MedStar Washington Hospital Center for emergency medical care. We do not know her current condition.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
