Based on reports from the California Highway Patrol police dispatch, emergency response teams reported to the scene of the accident at approximately 8:20 p.m.
On their arrival, they discovered a red Dodge pick-up truck and a silver Volkswagen Passat collided with one another at the intersection of Kennedy Memorial Road and Highway 299.
