Callaway, MO (October 12, 2024) – A significant traffic accident occurred on October 11, 2024, at approximately 5:14 PM at the intersection of US 63 and Renz Farm Road. The incident involved two vehicles, a 2023 Honda CRV and a 2014 Nissan Rogue, both of which sustained extensive damage and were towed from the scene by Toebben's Towing.
Preliminary reports indicate that the driver of the Nissan Rogue, Anna L. Wright-Wells, was traveling eastbound when her vehicle crossed into the path of the southbound Honda CRV, driven by Amanda S. Blissett. The collision resulted in both vehicles being deemed a total loss.
Emergency responders from Callaway County EMS arrived promptly at the scene. Anna Wright-Wells, 54, sustained serious injuries and was transported to University Hospital for medical care. Amanda Blissett, 36, also suffered injuries and was taken to Capital Region Medical Center via private conveyance. Additionally, Jonah L. Wells, a 24-year-old occupant in the Nissan Rogue, was transported to University Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
