Campbell County, VA – Three Killed in Car Crash on Route 682 near Route 711

Campbell County, VA (July 12, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Campbell County claimed the lives of three people.

At around 4:00 p.m. on July 10, a 2018 Nissan Murano was traveling eastbound on Route 682. For reasons unknown, the vehicle crossed over the centerline of the road and collided head-on with the 2019 Chevrolet Trax. The impact of the collision forced the Nissan off the roadway, where it struck a guardrail and overturned.

Three people involved in the accident were fatally injured and pronounced deceased at the scene. The victims were identified as 66-year-old Patsy Jasiewicz, 74-year-old Linda Keesee, and a 12-year-old female.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
