Car Accidents in Missouri
Failure-to-yield accidents are a common cause of serious crashes across Missouri. When a driver does not properly yield the right-of-way, the risk of high-impact collisions increases, often leading to significant injuries and vehicle damage. Intersections and highway crossings are frequent locations for these types of accidents, as seen in this crash on US-62.
Missouri traffic laws require drivers to yield when entering roadways or making turns in the presence of oncoming traffic. However, distractions, miscalculations, and reduced visibility can contribute to drivers making dangerous decisions that put others at risk. Even minor injuries from a crash can lead to long-term consequences, including medical expenses and time lost from work.
For those hurt in auto accidents, seeking guidance can help navigate the recovery process and understand available legal options. Injured victims may be entitled to compensation for medical bills, vehicle damage, and other hardships resulting from the crash.
