Charlotte, NC (September 19, 2023) – At around 1 p.m. on Monday, a devastating collision occurred on Sandy Porter Road close to Delshire Lane.
One individual tragically died on the spot.
Another person, critically injured, was transported urgently to Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center.
Following the crash, authorities closed Sandy Porter Road in both directions.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are spearheading the investigation.
The investigation is still ongoing.
