Charlottesville, VA – Injury Accident Reported on Preston Ave

Charlottesville, VA (July 19, 2023) – At around 9:40 p.m. on July 18, emergency crews were called to the site of an automobile accident that occurred in the Charlottesville area.

According to officials, a collision occurred in the area of 1212 Preston Avenue. The incident blocked several lanes of the road, resulting in delays throughout the area.

Emergency crews remained on-site for more than an hour as they worked to clear the scene.

Medics responded to the site of the crash to care for those harmed and transport them to area hospitals.

At this time, investigations into the crash are underway.
