Chattanooga, TN (September 19, 2023) – A hit-and-run on Market Street claimed the life of Sandra Grogins, 69. Around 11:30 p.m., Grogins was struck by a vehicle in the 2100 block of Market Street.
The driver responsible fled without stopping.
Emergency teams rushed Grogins to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Her family has been informed of the tragic event.
Chattanooga police gathered evidence and are actively seeking the perpetrator.
The investigation is still ongoing.
