Chevy Chase, MD (March 14, 2023) – On March 13, the Montgomery County Police Department in area firefighters responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Chevy Chase.
Reports show that a collision took place on the inner loops of
Interstate 495 at approximately 10:25 a.m. The incident prompted officials to close off multiple lanes near the northbound side of Georgia Avenue.
One of the involved vehicles came to rest approximately 20 to 30 feet off the roadway.
Paramedics responded to the scene to care for the victims who were harmed. Those who required further medical attention were transported to local hospitals. The accident remains under investigation.
