Chicago, IL (September 18, 2023) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run incident around 2 a.m. on Sunday, September 17, 2023.

The collision took place in the 1300 block of West Kinzie Street.

Authorities are searching for a dark blue 2011 Cadillac SUV bearing Illinois license plate #DV19629.

The SUV struck a pedestrian and promptly left the scene.

Details about the driver’s escape route remain unclear.

The pedestrian unfortunately succumbed to their injuries.

The investigation is still ongoing.
