Chicago, IL (September 19, 2023) – A wrong-way collision occurred early Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 1:26 a.m. on the 3000 block of South DuSable Lake Shore Drive.

A Ford Expedition, driven by a male, was hit by a male driving a Honda sedan the wrong way.

The SUV’s driver went to the hospital in fair condition.

The sedan driver and a female passenger were hospitalized in critical condition.

Some DuSable Lake Shore Drive lanes were closed for the investigation but reopened by 5:50 a.m.

The investigation is still ongoing.
