Cincinnati, OH – Passenger Ejected in Car Crash on Eden Park Dr Results in Serious Injury

Cincinnati, OH (November 20, 2023) – In a harrowing incident, a male passenger suffered severe injuries after being ejected from a car in Eden Park early Sunday morning, November 19. The crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. near the 1500 block of Eden Park Dr.

Authorities report that a 24-year-old woman lost control while driving south on Eden Park Dr. The vehicle hit a tree and a light pole, flipping over. This caused the ejection of the 30-year-old male passenger. The driver, remarkably, escaped unscathed. Emergency responders transported the injured passenger to UC Medical Center. He remains in serious but stable condition.

Investigators noted that the driver was buckled up, unlike the passenger. They are probing both excessive speed and impairment as potential causes. Police urge witnesses of the crash to contact the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit. The investigation is ongoing.
