Clarkston, GA (April 15, 2022) – A 7-year-old girl from DeKalb County died in an auto-pedestrian collision in Clarkston on Sunday, April 10. The fatal wreck happened near Montreal Road and Montreal Creek Circle. 

Sources say the accident happened on Clarkston Road when the young girl was struck by a car for reasons still under police investigation. Paramedics transported the girl to an area hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. 

The driver who struck her stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities. No other details have been made available concerning the accident at this time.
