Clarksville, TN (September 18, 2023) – A tragic crash on I-24 eastbound near the 11-mile marker resulted in one fatality and an injury on Monday.
A vehicle, partially in the left travel lane near the 11-mile marker, was rear-ended by Challise Martin, 35, of Tennessee.
The impact forced the car into the eastbound lanes, shutting the roadway for hours.
Lisa Washington, 60, a passenger in the parked car, died from the collision.
Martin sustained injuries.
The investigation is still ongoing.
