Clay, MO (September 14, 2023) – A rear-end collision occurred on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, on 35 at the 28MM.

TPR. C. L. Purnell led the crash investigation around 6:00 p.m.

A 2016 Chevrolet Trailblazer, driven by a 16-year-old female from Holt, struck the back of a 2012 Ford E350.

Gerald J. Maze, 48, from Kansas City, was behind the Ford’s wheel.

Both drivers suffered moderate injuries and received treatment at Liberty Hospital.

DTS Towing and Lucky’s Towing removed the vehicles from the scene.

The investigation is still ongoing.
