Clinton, MO – Car Crash on Missouri Highway 7 North of Clinton Road; Man Injured

Clinton ,MO(July 7, 2023) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol received an accident report at 6:11 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2023.

A 21-year-old man driving a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta was involved in the accident.

It happened on northbound Missouri State Highway 7, just north of the Clinton Road exit.

When the collision occurred, a 71-year-old Macon man was accelerating his 2015 Peterbilt to highway speed.

While attempting to pass the Peterbilt, the Jetta collided with its tail end.

The injured man was flown to a nearby hospital because he was not wearing protective gear.
