Cocoa Beach, FL (September 18, 2023) – A 38-year-old motorcyclist from Cape Canaveral died after a Sunday, September 17, 2023, crash on State Road 520’s 400 block.

Cocoa Beach police arrived at the eastbound lanes near the relief bridge at 5:37 a.m.

They reported a collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck.

The motorcyclist hit the pickup’s rear while both traveled east on State Road 520.

The pickup driver, Blake Brock, 39, of Rockledge, remained unharmed.

Authorities haven’t released the motorcyclist’s identity, awaiting family notification.

The investigation is still ongoing.
