Colesville, MD (January 31, 2023) – Emergency officials were called to provide assistance at the scene of a traffic crash in the Colesville area of assent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries.
On January 30, the Montgomery County Police Department was notified that a crash had occurred on Alderton Lane.
According to preliminary reports, at around 6:40 p.m., a traffic crash occurred on Alderton Road near Bennett Road during the evening hours. The incident caused delays off Bonifant Road.
One vehicle involved in the accident rolled over. Authorities arrived at the scene and immediately secured the roadway to prevent further damage or injuries.
At least one person suffered injuries that required medical attention. EMS rendered aid to the victim at the scene before transporting them to a local hospital.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
