Colorado Springs, CO (May 18, 2025) – A motorcycle crash involving another vehicle left one person with life-threatening injuries Saturday evening in Colorado Springs, according to local authorities.
The collision occurred near the intersection of Garden of the Gods Rd and Northpark Dr, just east of the I-25 exit. The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) confirmed that the crash involved a motorcycle and another vehicle. Emergency crews responded quickly and transported at least one person to a nearby hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
Initially, CSPD shut down all eastbound lanes of Garden of the Gods Rd east of I-25 and both directions of Northpark Dr. As the Major Crash Team expanded their investigation, the road closure was extended to include both eastbound and westbound lanes of Garden of the Gods Rd between I-25 and Mark Dabling Blvd.
Authorities have not released additional details about the individuals involved or the cause of the crash. The incident remains under active investigation.
