Colorado Springs, CO (December 16, 2024) – Two individuals were taken to the hospital after a structure fire broke out on Strawberry Grove, a residential area located just west of the Stratmoor Hills neighborhood. The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) responded to the blaze, which occurred in the evening on December 15, 2024.
According to CSFD, firefighters managed to contain the fire to the kitchen area, preventing it from spreading further. The fire was extinguished by approximately 8:30 p.m. However, two individuals were injured and required hospitalization. One person sustained serious burns, while the other suffered from smoke inhalation. Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
