Commack, NY (May 10, 2023) – A 21-year-old man from Coram has been arrested after driving drunk and high and crashing into a gas station in Commack. Hunter Addonizio was driving on Vets Highway and attempting to merge onto Jericho Turnpike when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a gas pump and another car. The incident occurred on May 10th, around 3:30 a.m.
The two people inside the other car sustained minor injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Hunter Addonizio was charged with driving while impaired by drugs and alcohol.
The gas station was also closed off, with authorities investigating the damage caused by the accident.
