Dallas County, MO (December 11, 2024) – Emergency responders were quick to the scene of a vehicle accident with personal injury that occurred at US-65, approximately 2 miles south of Louisburg, near New Hope Road. The incident took place at approximately 10:20 AM. The collision involved two vehicles, a 2020 Dodge Ram and a 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche, both traveling southbound at the time of the crash. The Dodge Ram struck the rear of the Chevrolet Avalanche, leading to a variety of injuries.
A total of three individuals were injured in the crash. A 20-year-old female occupant of the Dodge Ram suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield by EMS. A 26-year-old female occupant of the Chevrolet Avalanche sustained serious injuries and was also taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. Another female occupant, aged 30, from Bolivar, MO, was moderately injured and was transported to Mercy Hospital.
The crash caused significant damage to both vehicles, both of which were towed by Wades Towing of Buffalo. Emergency responders from Dallas County worked swiftly to provide care and clear the scene.
