Des Moines, IA (May 21, 2025) – Investigators from the Des Moines Police Department and Des Moines Fire Department responded to a fatal house fire early Tuesday morning on the city’s southside. Tragically, three people died in the blaze, while one individual is receiving care at a local hospital. Several others managed to escape the home without injury.
Fire crews and emergency personnel acted swiftly to control the fire and provide aid to those affected. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
