Desoto County, FL (July 19, 2023)- The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is investigating a fatal collision on Tuesday morning, July 18, 2023.
A woman from Arcadia, age 35, was driving south on Southwest County Road 761, just south of Drop Tine Drive.
She was then involved in a fatal head-on collision with a tractor-trailer.
She passed away as a result of the accident.
The other two drivers who were involved in the accident were not injured.
