The collision caused one car to overturn, obstructing the roadway.

Detroit Police Department, with the help of local EMS and Michigan State Police, is managing the investigation.

The exact number of people involved remains unclear.

Paramedics promptly attended to the injured victims at the scene.

The police urge witnesses with information to step forward.
