Devil’s Lake, ND – Truck Crash Causes Injuries on Hwy 19

Devil’s Lake, ND (August 23, 2020) – A truck driver was injured in an accident that took place on a highway in Devil’s Lake this past Tuesday morning. 

The incident occurred at approximately 7:17 a.m. on August 18 on Highway 19 near mile marker 148.10 when a concrete truck driver was traveling west on the roadway and collided with another vehicle. The collision caused his truck to overturn several times before coming to a full stop in a ditch along the side of the road. 

Emergency responders were called to render aid at the scene of the crash. 

The injured truck driver was transported by ambulance to CHI Saint Alexius Hospital for treatment. He then required air-lifting to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. His current health condition has not been reported at this time. 

No further information has been released.
