Dickenson County, VA (July 7, 2023) – A pedestrian accident took place in Dickenson County that left one person injured. Just after 2:30 p.m. on July 6, emergency officials were called to the scene of an accident on Route 652.

Reports from local news sources show that a pedestrian was run over by a hay baler in the 9200 block of the roadway. The pedestrian was injured as a result of the crash.

Emergency medical services responded to care for the injured victim. The pedestrian was transported to Norton Community Hospital, where they underwent emergency treatment.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
