Discovery Bay, CA (November 19, 2023) – Late Saturday, November 18, a two-vehicle collision with injuries occurred on SR4, just west of the Old River Bridge. Initially reported as a head-on crash, the incident was later clarified as a rear-end collision, occurring around 11:25 PM. Responding units included Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office and local fire and emergency services.
Two tow trucks, Pena Towing, and PES Towing, were called to the scene to handle a gray and a white pickup truck, both with moderate damage. The exact nature and extent of the injuries remain undisclosed. Investigations into the cause and details of the crash are ongoing.
