Dortches, NC (September 18, 2023) – A vehicle accident on Interstate 95 led to temporary northbound lane closures on Sunday afternoon, September 17, 2023.
The collision occurred near U.S. 64, mile marker 138, south of Dortches, around 4:55 p.m.
The incident took place just past exit 138 for U.S. 64, northwest of Rocky Mount.
Emergency vehicles were captured on an NCDOT camera diverting some traffic onto an on-ramp lane.
The investigation is still ongoing.
