Douglas, AZ (September 12, 2023) – Three individuals died in a high-speed collision on Thursday, September 7, 2023.
A car, speeding at around 80 MPH from State Route 80, crashed at the intersection of 15th Street and A Avenue.
The total number of vehicles involved remains uncertain.
Upon arrival, Douglas Police provided medical aid to ejected passengers.
Unfortunately, three passengers from the same car died from their injuries.
Multiple agencies attended the scene, including Cochise County Sheriff’s Office, Arizona Department of Public Safety, and US Border Patrol.
The deceased’s identities are withheld until family notification.
The investigation is still ongoing.
