According to emergency reports, the crash occurred around 4:40 p.m. and involved a motorcycle and another vehicle. Initial dispatches indicated that the rider may have been struck twice. Emergency medical services were requested to expedite their response to the scene.
At 4:50 p.m., authorities confirmed that the motorcyclist had succumbed to their injuries. As a result, law enforcement shut down Schuylkill Rd between Bridge and Kolb for an extended period to conduct a thorough investigation.
