Motorcycle Accidents in New York

Eastport, NY - Donald Ellers Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Sunrise Hwy

Motorcycle collisions almost always cause riders to sustain more than just physical injuries. They often struggle to rebound from financial and emotional damages as well. Those who are working to recover from their injuries or grieving the loss of a loved one do not need to deal with the paperwork, strict deadlines, and insurance negotiations that follow a serious motorcycle crash.

Since most victims are completely unfamiliar with the personal injury process, insurance companies often employ deceptive strategies in order to get out of paying claimants the full financial compensation they deserve, leaving thousands of injured victims trying to make do with a meager settlement that simply isn’t going to cover their damages, and, in some cases, with nothing at all.

After losing a loved one in a careless, reckless, or otherwise negligent New York motorcycle accident by no fault of the victim, it may feel like no amount of compensation could make you feel complete again. While it is true that no financial restitution can ever fully make up for your losses, filing a wrongful death claim against the responsible party or parties can go a long way toward helping you find some semblance of peace again.
