Eaton, WI (September 13, 2023) – Three individuals died in a crash on Wednesday night, September 13, 2023, after their car hit a pole barn in Eaton township, Manitowoc County.

Emergency services responded to State Highway 67 and County Highway C around 7:50 p.m. following a distress call.

The deceased are 38-year-old Juan Carlos Rodriguez Solorzano, the driver, 35-year-old Yonayra Liliana Ortiz Centeno, and 22-year-old Edwin Mariano Espinal Navarro. All hailed from the Village of Hilbert.

Early findings suggest the 2007 Chevy Cobalt, heading west on County C, ignored a stop sign at Highway 67’s T intersection. It then veered off the road, striking the barn.

Multiple agencies assisted at the scene. Anyone with pertinent information should contact Detective Radke.

The investigation is still ongoing.
